The book starts as an appreciation for toddlers. Simone wants us to change how we think of toddlers as difficult and instead reshape our understanding of them. She wants all parents to see that toddlers are amazing, they are sponges that learn without effort, and are intent on doing for themselves because as much as we don’t realize sometimes they are very capable little humans.
